Herbs, flowers and shrubs shape our vineyards, provide a habitat for many species and are directly connected to the character of the wine.

The orbbrothers

this is us, Jens and Jan. In Westhofen, where limestone meets cool winds, we cultivate vineyards in Kirchspiel, Morstein, Aulerde, and Steingrube. These are terroirs that have developed, challenged and fascinated us.

Our foundation is Westhofen

Burgundy, a source of inspiration. Soil, climate, and craftsmanship shape wines with depth and radiance. Each vintage brings its own unique character – authentic and distinctive.

Great wines

are built on conviction. We allow them time, space and complete focus. In the glass, their origin and character become tangible — guided by a belief shaped over generations.

Within Freundeskreis

we share more than wine.
We offer insight into what drives us and shapes our work – from decisions made in the vineyard and the cellar, to the paths we take together and the moments that define our craft.
As a member of Freundeskreis, you are closer to what we do, why we do it, and how our wines come into being.
